The Carlsbad High School Girls Volleyball team returned home from Hawaii this past Monday after spending the weekend competing and bonding with one another.

On the court, the Lancers finished the Hawai’ Labor Day Classic with a 4-3 record including a win over local rival Sage Creek and a runner up finish in the Silver Division Championship. Off the court, the Lancers spent time building team chemistry and learning about one another.

Coach Tom Bloomquist shared the trip was a huge success and is already looking into ways to return to the Islands in September of 2027.

The Lancers (10-5) return to the mainland this week, and will open up the La Jolla Coastal Classic on Thursday evening against Oswego (IL) at 3:30pm.
